There are no special conditions for registering .LV domain names. If your .LV domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Latvia or, for companies, to be set up in Latvia.

Caution the proposed domain name can't be:

the name of a geographical locality or object. The names of towns, villages or parishes can be used only by their self-government bodies.
a person’s name in Latvia

Renewal:

A renewal extends the domain name for one year. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to quarantine status for a 30 days period before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.
