In order to complete the registration, the owner must sign an application form for domain registration in .NO and sent it back to NETIM. The registration will not be accepted if the document is not provided or if informations are inacurate.

Renewal:

A renewal extends the domain name for one year. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to quarantine status for a 90 days period before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.

In order to complete the registration, the owner must get a personal ID that must be use instead of his national identity number into the registration application. Also, he must sign an application form for domain registration in .PRIV.NO and sent it back to NETIM (we will provide it by email)

  The .CO.NO extension was planned to go live in february 2011 but it was has been posponed by the operator to 2nd quarter of 2011 !

By now, we accept orders to be processed in order of priority from the first seconds of the Go Live. If registrations fail you will be able to choose another domain name or claim a refund.

There are no special conditions for registering .CO.NO domain names. If your .CO.NO domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual.

  If you can't register a .NO domain, the .CO.NO is the only alternative because it is not restrictive.
