In other words, if your .CO.UK domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in UK or, for companies, to be set up in UK.
Renewal:
A renewal extends the domain name for two years. Renewal procedures must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will be removed.

Registration:
Registrants of .ME.UK domain names must be, and remain at all times, natural persons (a "qualifying person"), and shall not be recorded on the register as being the agent, trustee, proxy or representative for any person or entity (whether having an individual legal personality or not) which is not a qualifying person.
You do not need to reside in U.K. or to be a U.K. citizen.
